USING A MAINTENANCE SOFTWARE TO MANAGE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

ICMS is an acronym for Intelligent Condition Monitoring System and is an integrated element of CMMS. ICMS lets maintenance team members manage assets in a proactive method that increases process availability. Discussions on the benefit of using ICMS include: (1) Capability to Analyze Data -Tracking of failure modes and progress of those failure modes. (2) Serialized Component -The ability to track data whether the part is in service or in stock/stores. (3) Test Templates -The ability to quickly develop an equipment maintenance program. (4) IXDC -Automatic data collection from PI. (5) Calculations -Mathematical process whereby a combination of condition indicators are used to provide a result. (6) Failure Modes -Automatically creates a request to perform a Bench Work Order that's attached to a failure mode. (7) Reduces and eliminates repetitive activities. By measuring assets with ICMS, the equipment becomes manageable and the result is having the equipment available 100% of the time with predictable operating costs and higher profits.
