A software using/managing system comprising software providing servers capable of providing and marketing to distribution markets software to be stored in hardware for driving, clients having specific software usage grant rights acquired by software usage grant contracts, assignments or inheritances, and software using/managing servers capable of managing tasks including the storage/distribution, consignment reception, consignment, and depositing of specific software, and keeping the software, wherein the software using/managing servers, when consigned with the usage and managing control of desired specific software provided with usage grant rights by clients, manages (including stores/distributes, receives consignment of, consigns, and receives deposit of) and keeps the desired specific software, and downloads desired specific software to clients as so requested.
