Color Management for Digital Video: Color Correction in the Editing Phase

摘要

In this paper we describe the preliminary results of a collaborative research project conducted by researchers at Gjovik University College and Lillehammer University College. The goal of the project is to develop methods and tools to improve the control of color information in the production and presentation of digital video. The project represents a unique attempt to bring together two scientific communities ― graphic arts and television/video production ― on a theme of common interest, namely color. Promising results have been obtained by using an innovative color warping algorithm for color correction in editing of digital video.
