Exciting times! The first controlled release polymer-based depot formulations, polymer-protein conjugates and polymer-drug conjugates, liposomal formulations and antibodies and their drug conjugates have entered clinical use as anticancer treatments over the last 10 - 15 years. This presentation will review their current contribution to cancer chemotherapy and assess the future prospects.
