Phytosulfokine (PSK),a sulfated growth factr university found in both monocotyledons and dicotyledons,strongly promotes proliferation of plant cells in culture [1].It is similar to animal polypeptide hormones in that it is processed from a larger precursor,preprophytosulfokine (PP-PSK).
