Developments in Salvage and Response in the United Kingdom

摘要

This paper reviews the incidents and subsequent reports that prompted the appointment of the UK's SOSREP, and explains his role. It also describes the National Contingency Plan and details how the system of State intervention in all aspects of marine regulation and incident response currently works in practice.
