SOLUBILITY EVALUATION OF TYLAN~(R)SOLUBLE IN WATER

摘要

The use of soluble antibiotic on pig farms with water of varying hardness, pH and other contaminants can be challenging, especially when the product is administered by measuring pump. If the solubility is compromised, the product is not totally delivered to animals and the treatment could be ineffective because of low dosage. The insoluble product could block the water pipe and provide substrate for bacteria too. In this study, the solubility of Tylan~(R) soluble (as tylosin tartrate powder, non diluted) in different types of water was evaluated.
