摘要

The present paper studies the current distribution in reinforced cement paste probes. EIS measurements and finite element simulations are employed for this purpose. The current injected in the cement paste is partially collected by the reinforcement. The fraction collected depends on various factors as the distance rebar-active electrodes, the frequency of the injected current, the cement paste resistivity, and the interfacial impedance at the rebar's level are explored. Those factors are studied and the possibility obtaining quantitative information from stray current experiments is discussed.
