Process Control Scheme for a 2-Bed Pressure Swing Adsorption Plant

Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) plants are used for the separation of gas mixtures and are operated as cyclic multi-step processes. Based on the rigorous distributed parameter model of the considered 2-bed PSA plant, a reduced controller design model is derived and a process control scheme is designed and validated by simulation.
