摘要

The scope of this work is to present the design and development of an embedded supervisory automation framework for hybrid hydrogen-enabled power generation systems. More specifically, the hybrid system is responsible for the charging of battery stacks and it relies on a High Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane (HT-PEM) fuel cell system and an LPG reformer. The HT-PEM fuel cell is used as a primary power source for the charging of a Li-Ion battery stack. The necessary hydrogen is provided either by a renewable hydrogen production station or from an LPG reformer, which are both, integrated and operated by CERTH. Overall the applied methodology resulted to an automated system that can provide power upon-demand.
