摘要

In this paper an improved calculation of iron losses in induction motors taking into account the harmonics of higher order is presented. Based on a time-stepped 2D finite element computation the specific iron losses per element are calculated for the stator and for the rotor. The influence of rotational magnetization and cutting edges is considered. The specific iron losses per element are added up to get the total iron losses of the induction motor.
