摘要

Currently, digital technology is universal type of dealing data. Therefore optical data storage device is widely used, because it is very convenience and compact. The more data to be saved, the higher storage density and the faster angular velocity are needed. When a disk is rotating with high speed, it has unexpected problems, kinds of surface fluctuation, annoying noise and so on. In case of CD-ROM, the rotational speed of a new product is over 10000 rpm. The rotating speed is getting faster and the storage density is increasing more and more. Therefore, exceptionally, rotating part is changed for improving performance, but the same spindle motor is still used. In this paper, new concept design of optical storage drive is exteriorized for reduction of vibration and noise with rotating reflex mirror structure design.
