Development of 42' VGA PDP using LTCC-M technology

42" VGA PDP panel was developed using the LTCC-M (Low Temperature Cofired Ceramic on Metal) technology. Brightness and color temperature of the LTCC-M PDPs were measured and packaging issues for fabricating the large panel using the technology are addressed in this paper. Reliability tests of vibration in z-direction and thermal cyclic tests were conducted and the results are presented and discussed.
