Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic on Metal Plasma-Density-Panel : LTCC-M PDP

PURPOSE: A low temperature cofired ceramic on metal(LTCC-M) PDP is provided to achieve improved yield rate by increasing the coupling force between the upper plate and the lower plate. CONSTITUTION: A low temperature cofired ceramic on metal PDP comprises an upper plate(22); a lower plate(21) attached to the upper plate by a seal member(23) applied along the contour of the effective screen of the upper plate; and an epoxy film(24) deposited over the edge and the side surface of the upper plate and the lower plate so as to increase the coupling force between the upper plate and the lower plate. The epoxy film is made of a thermo-setting resinous material hardening at a low temperature.
