The lifetime and performance of the Hopping Electron Cathode

摘要

We present a new HEC module design for CRTs that decreases the required transport voltages for electron hop transport and reduces lifetime limiting effects such as heating due to the dissipative hop process and electron bombardment of the insulating hop layer.
