Electro-optical properties of Xe-Kr-Ne gas composition were evaluated for improving the luminous efficiency. In Kr-Ne bal. the luminous efficiency increased linearly, with increasing Kr concentration since the brightness increased proportionally due to enhancing Kr_2~* excimer emission and power consumption was reduced. In Xe-60%Kr-Ne bal. discharge voltage decreased about 10V at around 2vol% due to penning effect. With increasing Xe concentration The luminous efficiency increased because the brightness increased linearly by enhancing Xe_2~* excimer emission and power consumption was decreased.
