The studies of the temperature vertical distribution over Tomsk, carried out in the disturbed and calm periods of the yearin 2012-2015 are presented in this paper. A number of peculiarities of the annual dynamics of the thermal regime of thestratosphere have been revealed on the basis of the accumulated experimental material.Thus, winter stratospheric warming occurs annually. During this period, two strong (major) warming were recorded inthe winters of 2009/10 and 2012/13, in which the transfer of air masses in the upper atmosphere changed from western toeastern, and four weak (minor), they are winters 2011/10, 2012 / 11, 2014/13 and 2015/14.It has been shown during many years of observations that in most cases the vertical distribution of temperature overWestern Siberian region during many years of observations is in good agreement with the model distribution of CIRA-86.
