A novel method to investigate the non-uniformity of the internal structure of granule compact

We report a novel method for characterizing PVA binder distribution in compacts made of uniaxial pressing of granules. The network structure developed by the non-uniform binder distribution was clearly noted. Analysis of this network structure directly shows the non-uniformity in stress distribution in pressing and the resultant non-uniform density in compact.
