Using Java technology to realize WEB-based multi-media system

摘要

With the development of network, WEB-based Multimedia application is becoming more and more popular. How to develop such system quickly and effectively is becoming a research field. This paper introduces a Multimedia subsystem in the Web-based Real-time Cooperative Edit System and gives the way to develop a WEB-based Multi-media system. We first discuss the WEB-based Multi-media system's architecture based on the network bandwidth, server's load, haleness and so on and then put forward hybrid system architecture. Combined with the JMF, RPT IGMP technology, we introduce the key steps to develop a WEB-based Multi-media system.
