Integrated voltage regulator with two serial transistors regulation element

摘要

This paper proposes a change to LM317 integrated voltage regulator, using two serial transistors regulation element (SRE-2T) and bypass resistor having more advantages then the classical regulation element with doublet transistors, by reducing the maximum power dissipation and assuring protection during usage. Wide range' current without increasing power dissipation on regulator can be obtained.
