The Experimental Study on The Recycling of Pavement Cement Concrete

When the concrete pavement needs to be reconstruct because the pavement comes to its working life, or fail to work for other reasons. The old concrete will inevitable cause environmental problems. Substantial economic and social profit will be brought out if the old concrete can be recycled. In this paper, we discuss the possibility of recycling of old concrete, put emphasis on the cement concrete, which was made from the old one. A lot of experiments were carried out on the road service performance of concrete made with the crushed concrete aggregate, such as the material behavior, compressive capacity, flexural strength, and wearing capacity, etc. Finally the results of the experiment are interpreted.
