Study on a dense impinging jet in shallow crossflows

摘要

By means of flow visualization and quantitative measurements, the diffusion pattern and interactions of particle-particle and particle-fluid of a dense impinging jet in shallow crossflows and experimentally investigated in a water channel. Experimental results indicate that the jet show particular flow and diffusion patterns in near region, which are different from single-phase impinging jet, and the interactions of the particle-particle and particle-fluid play an important role in the diffusion and transportation of the dense particle-laden jet.
