摘要

The paper studies the methods of optimum design on buckling of piezoelectric intelligent truss structures. The computational formula of sensitivities of critical buckling load with respect to size and shape design variables has been presented. The electric voltage is proposed as a new kind of design variable, and the sensitivity calculation method with respect to the elastic voltage variable is proposed. Particularly, the variations of the load and pre-buckling forces with the design variables have been accounted for.
