This paper introduces a new Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) process. A rotating pipette during insertion increases shear force on cell membrane, and penetrates it keeping the ovum deformation small. To realize the pipette rotation, we developed a micro-handling system consisting of two pipettes, petri dish, microscope and manipulators with a rotational degree of freedom. An experiment showed the system reduces the ovum deformation, and we conclude that the ICSI process has been improved.
