This paper provides an uncertainty treatment method, which combines random sampling guesswork method with probability statistic method, for the fault tree analysis (FTA) of chemical leaking accidents in LPG processes. The chemical leaking accidents in LPG processes are discussed. The quantitative FTA method using Fuzzy safety standard exchanged relationship of hazardous factors is applied. It is obtained that the probability of the leaking event in LPG processes is 4.0·10{sup}(-7)/ h. When the leaking LPG reached the limit explosion concentrations in air, the probability of the fire and explosion is 9.6·10{sup}(-12)/h.
