Automotive tribology fundamentals overview of current advances and challenges for the future

This 1St lecture will provide a comprehensive overview of the various lubrication aspects of a typical tribological system including engine, transmission, driveline, and the other powertrain components, as well as the integration of these lubrication and surface engineering concepts into a unified approach to practical automotive powertrain systems. In addition, the speaker will share his research perspectives and insights on future trends and opportunities for automotive joint development in this emerging area of tribology.
