Prandtl number effects on spanwise heat transfer from the wall were studied using the combination of usual Eulerian DNS for fully developed turbulent channel flow and Eulerian/Lagrangian simulation for temperature field. Lagrangian simulation enables us to explore the high Prandtl number regime, and numerical data for Pr from 0.025 up to 100 were presented. It was found that over the treated numerical conditions Prandtl number effects on spanwise beat transfer and those on wall-normal heat transfer are qualitatively similar and that, the latter is more conspicuous than the former in the near-wall region.
