The purpose of this study is to understand the effects of surface tension on condensation heat transfer on the outside of a horizontal slender tube with a tininess diameter such as a hypodermic needle, and to find out the possibility of a pollutant removal system which utilizes such a peculiarity of condensation phenomena in a small scale system. As a means of investigating these subjects systematically, it was clarified in the previous paper that vapor condenses just like a string of beads along the tube as if the tube is well wetted surface. In this paper, several experiments were conducted as the next step in order to compare the effects of wettability of the tube surface on the condensation heat transfer on the same size slender tube which is well wetted or poorly wetted surface.
