Decompression boiling occurs quite dynamically, which makes water circulation and great heat-transfer enhancement in tubing. By applying decompression boiling into solar panel, water boiled at ambient temperature and solar-thermal-energy completely transfers from the solar-panel to cooling water by evaporated steam and boiling water. At the conditions of usual amount of insolation between 100 W/m{sup}2 and 1 kW/m{sup}2, the principle and the performance of the solar panel have been confirmed by small-scale laboratory experiment. To keep the stable high performance, a surfactant of sodium-dodecyl-sulfate (SDS) was applied as 0.1 mass% or 1 mass% solution. In the case of 1 mass% solution, the boiling behavior was stabilized for long hours at least 3 hours.
