An analysis on the system performance of slush-ice thermal storage system

An experimental study on a small-scale cold thermal storage system has been performed to determine the effects of the operation mode on the system characteristics. In addition, an analytical study has been conducted to calculate the system performance. It was found that the analytical results agreed well with the experimental ones. Furthermore, the system performance was forecasted by the computer simulation and the most suitable operating conditions were investigated.
