摘要

The bioassay common modeling plant and one of the common weeds in the field ― amaranth pigweed (Amaranthus retroflexus L.) was chosen as the research plant. The effects of different soil properties such as water content, organic content and depth of surface soil on plant growth and control effects of five commercial herbicides on it had been studied in greenhouse using artificial mixed soil. The results indicated that all these factors could influence the plants growth and experimental herbicides could control it effectively. The influence of field management on this weed was discussed in this paper. The minimum interference soil conditions used in bioassay was also concluded. These results can provide reference for the bioassay standard operating procedures using amaranth in greenhouse, and also can give information about herbicides control on it in field.
