A new method for calculating axial capacity and group action of tension piles in dense sand

After a brief introduction to a new approach for calculating the axial capacity of single tension piles in granular soil experimental investigations on group piles in model scale are described. As a result of the model tests a method for determininggroup action of tension piles is presented.
