~(27)AlNMR spectra of various aluminum salts solutions, such as sulfate, nitrate, phosphate, isothiocyanate, hydroxide, oxalate, citrate, and several organic chelate forming salt were observed. In many spectra additional signals except A1~(3+) signal appeared. The additional signals may be caused by forming chelating complexes. In the cases of inorganic acid theses signals appeared on the higher field range than reference and in the cases of organic acids or organic chelating reagents, those signal obserbed on the low field area. In the case of aluminum chloride additional signal does not appear, but the main signal of ~(27)Al shifts to higher field. A new mechanisn of hydrolysis of aluminum salts by alkaline is proposed.
