OPTIMIZATION OF SOAKING PIT/ROLLING MILL PROCESS AT BRITISH ALUMINIUM PLATE

摘要

This paper presents an algorithm to synthesise a schedule for the soaking pits/rolling mill process at British Aluminium Plate. The aim of the schedule is to increase the throughput and decrease energy consumption by avoiding machine idleness and job waiting.
