摘要

Submarine Guide Vane Propeller is a new device developed by CSSRC to improve powering performance and reduce propeller-radiated noise of submarine. It is composed of propeller and guide vane, the latter is installed at an appropriate position between stern appendages and propeller. By interactions among stern appendages, main hull and the guide vane, the inflow of propeller is adjusted, so that the energy losses in propeller and the unsteady forces and radiated noise can be reduced. In the research it is shown that the new device can increase submarine maximum speed by 0.3?"0.5 knot and reduce propeller radiated noise by 2~4 dB.
