THE STATUS OF RADIATION CURING MARKETS AND TECHNOLOGY IN JAPAN

The market in Japan on radiation curing has been growing rapidly in recent years. The volume of radiation-curable coatings, inks, photo-resists, adhesives, and others in Japan was estimated at 37,000 tonnes with 9.4%-growth rate in 1999. Especially, hard coatings, coatings for opto-electronics, and resists for flat panel displays expanded their market widely.
