摘要

Acoustic Finite Element Method is a useful tool in the analysis of low-frequency room acoustic phenomenon where the true wave nature of sound must be accurately modeled. Herein FEM is being used to predict impulse response in a room. The FEM model for rigid and lightly damped rooms are discussed with details. An agreement between computer solutions and measurements in a rigid room shows the accuracy and applicability of the FEM models.
