REALIZATION OF THE TEMPERATURE SCALE IN SLOVENIA

The following paper describes the realization of the temperature scale in Slovenia. According to our status as national standard laboratory for thermodynamic temperature, establishment of temperature scale in Slovenia, in accordance with the present international scale and Slovenian needs and its dissemination to the secondary level are main tasks of the Laboratory of Metrology and Quality. At the beginning the laboratory was established as a secondary laboratory, as described in [1]. During last four years the laboratory acquired fixed points in the range from the argon triple point up to the freezing point of silver. Current realization covers only the range from the argon triple point up to the freezing point of zinc. In the future, we will also realize the scale in the whole range of acquired fixed points.
