Capillary electrophoresis with amperometric determination of curcumin in chinese herbal medicine pretreated by solid phase semimicroextraction

摘要

Turmeric has been used for centuries in Chinese traditional system of medicine, as a spice and a natural food color. Curcumin, the biologically active component of the turmeric, has been reported to possess anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritic, anti-oxidant, anti-allergic, anti-bacterial, and anti-tumor features. The use of herbal products as alternative medicines is becoming more popular.
