摘要

Forging of a core made out of a hard-to-form metal was here possible via parallel extrusion of a ductile material.By use of various extrusion metals as well as various extrusio ndie designs,the hydrostatic pressure applied on the core specimen varies within the limits of a large range,thus allowing a fine analysis of the yield behaviour (formability) of semi-fragile aluminium alloy and grey cast iron.Based on FEM simulations,a local approach of the process can be derived through the description of both state of stress and state of strain.
