ENGLISHTOWN AND ORGANIZATIONS: SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION APPROACHES FOR ONLINE LANGUAGE TRAINING

Developing fluency in English for the workplace can be a tremendous challenge for both global and local companies. Several constraints, such as budgets, equipment, firewalls, facilities, and even time factor into the decision making process when selecting a vendor for language training. While the value of face-to-face interaction in learning a language cannot be overstated, companies are turning to e-learning to unite learners with trainers and content in a cost-effective and flexible approach to learning. This presentation will demonstrate how the needs of the corporate language learner have helped to evolve the Englishtown program to become the world's largest online language training institution.
