EAPEC (Environment-Adaptive Personal Communication) provides ubiquitous personal communication services in 3GPP (Third Generation Partnership Project)-based IP networks using SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). This paper presents, the principles and the communication mechanism of EAPEC and a preliminary performance evaluation.
