摘要

In this paper improved variants of video processing unit structure for a pyroelectric vidicon (or pyroelectric array) based infrared (IR) camera are considered. Proposed solutions provide decreasing of the noise equivalent temperature difference (NETD), sensitivity correction possibility according to distribution of a pedestal level, reduced number of digits of analog-to-digital converter and entire processing unit in comparison with the standard processing method.
