Core-Shell Latex Containing a Fluorinated Polymer in Shell

摘要

Core-shell latex with polyacrylate-rich core and fluoropolymer-rich shell was prepared by semi-continuous emulsion polymerization in presence of mixed surfactants. The solid content of the final product was about 25 wt%. The polymerization conditions were discussed. The particle morphology was characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The surface properties was determined by Wilhelmy plate and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).
