In this paper, a new approach is proposed for the simulation of non-coalescing interfaces using an existing interface-capturing method (Mass Conserving Level-Set method [17]). Separate marker functions are used for the interfaces of different bodies of the same fluid. The method is applied to the problem of the gravity driven impact of a droplet on a liquid-liquid interface. Results show that our approach accurately captures multiple interfaces in a single cell. Overlap of the different interfaces is found to be extremely small and to converge upon grid refinement.
