摘要

In this paper, the experimental study on buckling of liquid-filled cylindrical shell under axial compression is done. The critical loads and buckling modes are measured considering different geometrical dimensions. The pressure of liquid is also obtained. The experiment shows that the buckling mode of liquid-filled cylindrical shell under axial compression is axisymmetric and the load bearing capacity when buckling occurs is still high. The interesting buckling mode tell us a useful application of quick forming.
