The constitution, principle and experimental results of the velocity measurement system of duplex ammunition are introduced. The measurement system consists of velocity targets, amplifier, wave memory and computer. Coil targets are used for sensing transducer and the test is carried out. The results are compared with the Doppler radar test results, which have been proved that the developed velocity measurement system of duplex ammunition has the following features: the principle and method is feasible, the test results are reliable and relatively accurate.
