During the plan demonstration and conceptual design processes of equipment design, the testability of system should be distributed. The task of system testability distribution is to distribute the required system testability indexes to subsystems, LRU and SRU stage by stage, thus, making integral and local indexes in good coordination. The distributed indexes are the required values of malfunction detection ratio and isolation ratio. This paper takes a typical mechanical equipment design as an example to give out 3 distribution methods of system testability: distribution method according to living example, distribution method according to malfunction ratio, and distribution method according to weighting. It elaborates the principles and operating procedures of methods in combination with the living examples, and illustrates that the methods are effective and feasible. These three methods hove their own characteristics, so design personnel can moke selection according to actual requirements.
