Beginning with the thermal mechanism of laser diode ignition, according to the thermal ignition theory and the thermal flow equilibrium equation, and in allusion to concrete conditions, physical model and mathematical model of energetic materials ignited by laser diode were established. The method and steps of numerical calculation were given. The critical parameters of laser diode ignition of Mg/NaNO_3 and PbN_6 were computed. And calculating results were analyzed.
