Experimental viscosity of pure Hydroxyl Terminated Polybutadine, Carboxy Terminated Polybutadine and Polybutadinde Acrylic Acid Acrylonitrile pre-polymers, Dioctyl Adipate, Dioctyl Pathalate, Isodecyl Pelargonate and Paraffin Oil plasticizers and their mixtures in weight ratios 50/50 to 90/10 have been measured at temperatures 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60 and 65°C using a Brookfield Viscometer. A generalized mathematical model to predict viscosity of binder systems of HTPB, PBAN, and CTPB prepolymers with DOA and DOP plasticizers has been developed. Developed model is based on the viscosity results of HTPB, CTPB, and PBAN prepolymers and DOA, DOP, IDP and paraffin oil plasticizers. The model is dependent on weight fraction, temperature, solubility parameter, molecule structure, functional groups etc. The predicted values are in close agreement with the experimental data.
